Thor Motor Coach Owners' Club forming rally

Hello all;
Well we are looking on putting a forming rally together for the week of 10-16 May 2015 at Lazydays in Tampa. This rally is to officially set up our Thor Motor Coach Owners' Club. At this point no seminars will be scheduled. There will be games, socials, meals and entertainment. Planning on a business meeting close to the end of the rally where we can establish the by-laws, and elect club officers. I have been forming this club on my own and we are up to 267 members from the US and Canada. We have a vast variety of coaches. I contacted Thor and asked if it would be possible to have a Thor representative available and I was told yes. What I need now is to determine the level of interest. In order to establish a sound rally fee I need to know how many would attend. If you know you would attend please send an email to tmcoc@ec.rr.com. If you feel there is a strong possibily you will attend please send an email as well stating so. Once I receive the level of interest and get the rest of my info from Lazydays and entertaimnet group, I'll be able to set the fee and post a registration. This is the second stage of forming the club. Lets roll.

We, too, would consider this opportunity. Sounds like it would be a great meet and greet.

WE WOULD BE INTERESTED AS WE ARE FORMER FOREST RIVER OWNERS AND THE FROG [OWNERS GROUP] SET UP A GREAT RALLY. Seminars on various subjects put on by representatives from sponsoring organizations, Chassis representatives, updates to improve what great unit we have.
We would certainly try our best to be there.

Mea, you are very welcome to stop in, of course if you wanted to attend any of the dinners or entertainment you would have to pay rally fees, but just to stop in and maybe attend a business meeting would be fine.

Come on Thor owners, we need some more interest in forming this rally. Lazydays is ready, I have entertainment ready top go. All I need now is owners so we canm determine meals and fees. It will be kept as low as possible. Lets get together.

Rvbunz,

I'm still trying to understand the value proposition for joining such a club? My experience with clubs and associations has been neutral to negative.

So far I've been really impressed with the resources, help, and general sense of community among RVrs. I don't understand what I'd get from a dues-paying club that I don't get now?

Regards,

Randy

Randy,
I belong to IRV2 and Thor Forums, both Social Knowledge owned sites, and I love them. Like Fleetwood, Winnebago, Tiffin etc, I'm just trying to get Thor owners together so we can share the same interest and have fun. I'm asking Thor members to come to the rally, if you don't want to be a member of the club, but would like to still share friendship with you fellow Thor owners, your still welcome to attend.
