Tire Valve Stems?

Morning!

First of all, I want to thank you all for your insights and assistance! It's incredibly helpful to hear from folks who've already had - and resolved - the same problems we have.

So - my question for today: I have a Palazzo 33.2, and the front tire valve stems are impossible to reach! There's not even enough room to get my fingers in there to unscrew the valve cap. Understand that I can take the "chrome" rims off to get at them, but that's quite an effort for a quick TP check; so a) does anyone recommend (or not) using valve stem extenders, like on the rear inner tire; or b) has anyone come up with a more elegant solution?

Thanks for any help!

- Tom

There are short 45 degree valve extenders for the front wheels.

Any truck tire dealer ( truck stop) can replace your stems with solid stems to reach outside your wheel covers. They also can do that for your inside duals on the rear. Solid stems not flex line.

Not familiar with your rig--but there are a variety of short, 45, 90, 135 and 180 degree extensions. Does add yet another connection for a potential leak but most seem to work ok......

You may want to look into a tire pressure monitoring system, TPMS. Cost a few bucks but will extend your valves some and give you real time tire pressures and temperatures on an LCD screen while in the driver's seat

I had to grind a larger cut out in the front wheel covers to accommodate the flow through type sensor.

I've considered purchasing a TPMS; guess I ought to do more than consider. Have one on my toad, and on my last 2 Diesel F-250s - loved them! Now I just have to do the research and shell out the bucks. So excellent suggestion - thanks!
