Tornado tank washer on THOR Hurricane

Has anyone installed a Tornado tank washing system on a THOR Hurricane?

Any issues? Where on the tank did you mount it?

Opposite side of the tank is under the slide?

What about mounting it on the front side of the tank?

On my unit it does not look like a 15 minute install.

Ideas and opinions wanted.

Thanks.

Morning,
I mounted mine on the opposite side of the tank from the outlet valve (under slide) so that it forced everything out of the tank and NOT away from the outlet. All I did was connect a tube to the Tornado, ran it to the wet bay.... and got a one way garden hose quick connect valve... made a right angled bracket to hold it against a wall.

Rgds
Tex.

How did you access the opposite side? It looks like the opposite side of mine is concealed. I have not looked at it with the slide out but with the slide in the opposite side is not accessible. My toilet is on the passenger side and the tank is skinny at the top but funnels toward the driver side across the coach where it becomes larger near the sensors.

Tornado tank washer on THOR Hurricane

With the full wall slide extended will I be able to access the opposite side from the sensors on the black tank? My tank looks like it is almost the full width of the coach. The toilet is on the passenger side while the largest part of the black tank with depth is on the drivers side.

Tornado washer issues

My toilet is on the passenger side of the coach. There is a small tank under it that gets larger as it comes closer to the drivers side. On the Drivers side the tank is a large. On the drivers side of the tank (exterior) are the sensors.

I extended the slide this morning to see if it gave me any additional access to the opposite side of the tank and it did not.

I need some ideas please on how I can install the Tornado tank washer.

Thanks.

Adam

Front side mount for Tornado on Hurricane

Unless anyone has another idea I think the installation will have to be done on the front side of the black tank. The sensors are on the drivers side. I cannot access the passenger side (opposite the sensors) like the instructions want.

I have not heard any other idea from other 34F Hurricane owners. The drivers side has a full wall slide which complicates things.

Still open for ideas..... Will do the install on my next day off.... Saturday.

Tornado finally installed

I didn't get much feedback or ideas on the installation location for my Tornado tank washer. After a lot of research and measuring, checking and rechecking, thinking and rethinking I made a decision.

I did mount opposite the sensors in a small area but there was only two options that remained and I thought going opposite in a small area was better than a large area that was not opposite.

Here are some pics:

Tornado install completed today

The hose was attached today and now the installation is complete. Will test it all the next time I'm at a place to hook up the drain.
