Am in the process of removing the front TV on my 06 Windsport. Knowing how my RV was built, I just didn't feel comfortable having 100lb sitting over my head.

The TV is held up with the hoist and then bolted into two side panels. The side panels are held up by 3 self tapping screws. My left side side panel was so loose that all I had to do was wiggle it a bit and all 3 self tapping screws fell right out. This could have left my 100lb TV swinging in the wind since I don't think the other side would have held it alone.

If you haven't done so, you might want to take apart that area and inspect all the mounting hardware. Four Winds quality leaves a lot to be desired.

I replaced my 06 Hurricane front TV with a 30lbs 32" LCD :-) FYI, none of the mounting screws were loose. In fact, I had no complains about the quality of the coach. Mine must have been built on a GOOD DAY for the workers :-)
