Interesting things you see while doing the walk through. On the serrano 31x the stove top is a tiny barbee sized 2 burner unit that is actually smaller than a coleman camping stove. I think if you actually cooked on it the controll knobs would melt. The burners had a little metal point like object next to them that looked like igniters but the tech said no we needed to use a flame to light the burners. Huh , 100 k and no igniter. Would love to pull it out and put in a normal motorhome stove top. The elect awning with no slope on it whatsoever ; common sense! The dvd system that sits so you cant see the lcd readout ; nice placement there Mr. engineer.
Jacks down and slides out no warning lights or buzzers. Giant windshield/ incredible heat maker with slim to none tint uv blocker. Nice sized window in the bedroom ; too bad it doesnt open. Also strange it isnt an escape window ; gotta check on this as it might be against the law. There are other nit pick issues that like everybody else I will just fix myself.
Thats enough for now ; and we actually like the coach , go figure! The chassis really drives nice and there are really nice things going on here but you know it doesnt take but one bad apple to mess up the barrel. Stay tuned for more exciting news. Anybody put in a real stovetop yet? And yes it really does have the solid surface counter top.

We've had no trouble with the stovetop. But, we would have liked an igniter. Not a big deal though. We've used it plenty, and the knobs haven't melted yet. We've never needed the DVD display. It shows well enough on the TV itself. I do agree the placement isn't that great. We've actually been attaching my iPad to the HDTV input, and watching movies that way. YouTube too. LOTS of free movies on YouTube.
