Hello everyone I am new to this Site Frankie turned me on to it. (By the way he is a really nice guy and has cured my ride problem with the 34N) Anyways This past weekend I noticed on my 2005 34N when I turn on the gas switch for my hot water heater I can hear it light and then goes off it f=does this a couple of times but does not stay lit I then turn the siwtch off and then back on and it will finally stay lit. Also on the furnace I turn it to heat and the blower comes on for about 3minutes then turns off no heat, Frid seems to be working off gas, Stove burners work off gas
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jim

Check the voltage source. We had the same problem on our 96 pace arrow and it was a bad
converter not putting out 13.6V to the 12V system. who knows Check it with a meter.

Hey pal, welcome aboard. I have service manuals at my house if you want , we can try and troubleshoot here. I assume you have checked the obvious, sometimes with mine if it sits awhile it takes for ever to get the gas flowing.Low voltage will cause issues also.

Welcome Jim Bouchard to irv2.
Some times you will get air in line if your coach sits for a while or you shut off gas valve before turning off all appliances which will remove LP gas from your lines. Just had a woman this weekend who never used her water heater or Lp to refer and had to operate the appliance switchs off and on until the air was removed from lines to each appliance. You can run stove burners to get gas in line but legs to each appliance will still have air in them.
Each spring check your burner tubes and make sure there are no spiders or cob webs in tubes and make sure you have a good house battery as some one mentioned.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

I agree with "007". I only have to let my rig sit for a couple of weeks with the propane turned off, for the lines to get air in them. It takes me several attempts to get the 'fridge, stove and water heater to light before a trip, but then I have no problems. I think it's probably normal.

Always check your burner tube for spiders and cob webs.. that is why I had a screen installed to stop this from happening. Never had that problem.

Thanks everyone, I use the motorhome every weekend and the problem just started this past weekend or Water colunm issue, I know all appliances are suppose to be around 11 from what I am reading just don't know how to test I read some things on how to build a magnometer (something like that) Has anyone had to replace there main regulator off the tank? I did check for webs/spiders (nothing) Frig and burners work great no problems. I was reading in the books that atwood gives a 2 year warranty so I might try and go that route and hopefully not lose the unit for to long.
Ps Frankie thanks for the offer however I am down in Memphis Tennesee and fly home Thursday so I would only have Thursday night as we are leaving for a race Friday till Sunday Check out the site sometime it will be updated with Motocross shortly http://www.teambouchardracing.com
Thanks Again everyone Great forum
Jim

Yup 11 water column is standard.Hopefully you wont need heat.Check lines for kinks also. There is so many variables, especially that you have good pressure in other areas.Call me after the weekend and we can put in the rc thermostat at the same time

I put half a dog flea collar in each outside compartment, and have no cobwebs. They need to be changed every 4 to 6 months.

I have a cat that loves to bring home lizard bits. I guess I could loan her to you for a while.
