Water heater No hot water

I have a new 2017 Thor Freedom Elite when you turn the water heater on it ignites stays on about 1 min and goes off wait about 5 mins and it comes on and stays on less than 1 min. So we never have hot water. Any suggestions. Been trying to get CW in Golden Co to address a lot of issues so far not much success in getting an appointment. Worst customer service ever.
Atwood 6gal propane.

I'd recommend calling Atwood support directly to see if they can walk you through a simple fix. I've found it much easier to reach out to the component manufacturers then to rely on CW.

There is probably no water in the water heater. There is a bypass lever somewhere that is used to winterize the unit. Make sure that it is in the correct position. Lift the handle on the relief valve water should come out if it is full.

I have a thor elite and maybe this will help. your water heater is located below the refrigerator. it is behind the panel that is held with four screws. open that up and you will see three valves. the upper valve on the red pipe should be horizontal, the middle valve between the red/blue pipe should also be horizontal, and the blue pipe valve should be horizontal. that is for normal hot watetr use. hope this helps.
