Water Pressure

I have a Majestic 28A...when hooked to city water the pressure out of the faucets and shower are great! But when using the pump and fresh water tank the pressure starts great but quickly becomes very low. Is this a sign of a pump going bad or something else?
Thanks

Check the line from water tank for obstruction or clogged filter screaming sounds like a flow problem to the pump

Yes. Screens on faucets sometimes get clogged and make this look like a bigger problem than it is.

Screens on faucets would effect both shore line and water pump. OP says not a problem with shore connection!

My coach has a screen installed between the pump and the fresh water tank. It is located near the pump and the cap screws of by hand.

I'm having the same issue with both. Brand new Outlaw, water pressure strong immediately and then returns to a dribble. If you turn the faucet off for a minute or so the pressure returns to full volume and within seconds its back to the dribble at all locations and on either valve.

I've seen this condition, as it usually is due to either a smaller than normal diameter water hose, a filter or screen is clogged, or the outside spigot is not on 'full', or is a low water pressure.

water pressure can build when the faucet is off, giving an initial 'good' water flow when first turned on, then subsides to very low or a trickle

Thanks, how likely would those things be on a new unit? Admittedly its a 2018 so it has sit on a lot for a while now. It's probably something we should have taken better notice of at the dealership before departing.

It could have debris in the lines from parts sitting on a parts rack, not blown out when installed. I would start at the farthest point from the pump, remove any screen and flush your system working back to the shortest. If that didn't work I would CAREFULLY use air to blow out any obstruction. But not the refrigerator.
