Anyone here know which fuses turns on the tow lights… I just installed a new light kit on my fj cruiser and no lights… did a ohms test on the fj and all the circuits are closed … I then did a voltage test on the back of the 08 hurricane and nothing… thanks for any help

On my 04' some of the trailer tow fuses are located in the fuse block located under the dash on the drivers side firewall and some more are in the power distribution box in the front engine compartment. The locations are identified in your owners manual.

No I didn't have to do anything to get the trailer lights working. Is it just your running lights that don't work or do the turn and brake lights not work either? If it is just the running lights then it may be the fuse for them in the front distribution box or (on mine) there is a trailer tow running lights relay in a small box under the front hood near the main distribution box. It may be missing, partially unplugged, or bad. If it is all of the lights then it's probably not a fuse problem as there are multiple fuses. It could be a problem with a bad or missing ground connection to the trailer.
