Banks Performance Kit

Hi,

Banks is having a Father's Day sale & I can get a methanol/water booster kit for $1600...parts only....supposed to add approx 150 hp & 250 lb torque for those steep hill climbs. Our Maxx Force 7 struggles pulling the towed...anyone have any experience with this type of set-up?

Thanks

Mike

Nope, but I did have a Banks kit put on the '98 Santara 460 Ford and it did make a difference.
I also installed the full kit on our '02 DSDP Cummins ISC 350 and it made a serious difference there too.

Banks

We have the Banks w/m on our MF 7 Breeze installed by Banks. It definitely makes a difference when you need a boost. I have the "Double Shot" with 2 nozzles. If you're still under warranty it could be a problem. After the sale help from Banks is not the best. Getting w/m fluid is an issue as the Banks product is ridiculously expensive and methanol is tricky to buy in California. The controller works well and it is really nice to just hit that button when needed. I only know of 2 other rv'ers with w/m injection. Hope you post your results.
