Fast Idle using Cruise Control gone

The normal operation to activate fast idle would be to turn on the cruise control and click set, the rpm would go to about 1100. After they reflashed my ECM for the recall the fast idle feature was gone. Does anyone know if and how it can be put back without a trip the the International service center?

Don't know ,but I know that I would not screw with it unless I was told what to do by a qualified Navistar tech who knew about the system.....Alan

I got a call from Monaco tech support today in response to my question and it will have to go back to an International service center to get the fast idle function restored. I wonder how many other ECM parameters got screwed up???

I wish they would just let me buy the equipment so I could fix it myself...
