Had to our First Parked Regen Today

Well after driving through Hope BC today and just before getting up to speed we went into Stage 1 Regen, fortunately we we're just getting onto the highway and getting our speed up, so we we;re able to drive out of it after about 5 minutes of highway speed.


Just found out a couple of weeks back that I still haven't got my ECM updated, even though I have been told twice that it has been done. Brattain in Eugene supposedly supposedly did it a year ago. Then when I had the wiring harness replaced at the end of Oct last year at Rush Truck Center in St. George, Utah they said it needed it and that they did it.


Was surprised to learn that when I took it in for Annual service at Brattains in Eugene this spring when they said it still needed to be done. But they we're short staffed that day and were not sure they had time to do it.


Getting a little frustrated that no one seems to be able to do the update and make sure it's been done before telling me that.

There have been 2 "recall" ECM updates and one re-configuration that I know of since 2012. Maybe all the updates you have had were different ones each time and not the same one over and over??

That could be the answer but unless there is something newer than last October it should have been up to date.

Early October 2014 is when I found out about the last update for mine so it should have been available for yours.
With a call to a dealer with your VIN they should be able to tell you what updates your ECM has received and when. Maybe that will clear things up...
