Yes it does passive regen. But the tech said the doser valve was not functioning correctly and dumping a stream of diesel and not a spray of diesel in the passive regen.
While having the crankcase vent system installed under warranty the 2 turbo's were checked . Found the larger turbo had end play, should be none, replaced. The smaller turbo spools up quickly and is designed to work from stop to 5-10 MPH while the larger turbo spools up to speed. Any end play is a warranty replacement issue. Fairly easy replacement.

How many miles on your coach, kind of surprised to hear of end play on the turbo.

Spec is zero end play. Turbo wasn't spinning freely either. Found out turbo's come in kit form. All work done on the top side of the coach. Larger turbo was fine. Something everyone should have checked approaching end of warranty. I din't notice any problem in driveability so I'm glad they checked it.

26K miles. Borg Warner turbo's. No way to notice other than taking the turbo apart. They replaced the impeller which came with all bearings, just dropped in. Easy install. If anyone is having any warranty work done...check the turbo's.

Also, I was at Rush Trucking because the closed crankcase vent system was blowing oil. Look at driver's side lower part of the block and you'll see a canister that traps vent oil and puts it back in the crankcase. The system fails and there are various kits for various MF10 engines. Navistar is not notifying customers but will repair if the owner indicates the oil leak. Big repair that includes a new valve cover. That's when the mechanic looked at the turbo's since he was working in the area.
