I will post what they find however this has happened 4 time in 5300 miles, interrupting my travels and costing me. I did Google the issue and I am ready to do as one person did, use sheet metal screws, drill through the clamp, hose, and into the pipe and screw it through the entire assembly in 3 or 4 places to prevent it from blowing off. According to the blog this solved his issue. This appears to be an over the top way to fix this but at this point I am ready to try something different because the current design is not working.

Has anyone else had this prob. on the MF7? Sounds horrific. Has Navistar given you a plausible explanation about what appears to be a recurring issue. When and if they do please post it here. Good luck.

No, after removing the doghouse the clamp that keeps coming off is difficult to reach and you must lay flat across the engine so you need to wait until the engine cools...

I have done a lot of research and it would appear that mine is the only one. Navistar did send the repair shop a replacement hose however it is not the one that keeps coming off. I just got it out of the shop on Wednesday and in less than 100 miles it came loose again, current I am stuck in a campground in SW Ohio. I have Grandkids coming in over the weekend so I will pull the doghouse on Monday and try to reconnect the hose and get it back to the shop.
There is something going on with my installation that is not on other MF7 engines. I love our MH and when working I love the performance of the MF7 engine.

I had a breakdown with another mh on I 75 so I can relate with the hot motor issue. Passing semi 's throw alot of wind and all you want to do is get it done and quit burning your hands. Keep us posted.

Hey guys .... I just wanted to put this up so that you can see that this is a known anomaly and the company has recognized the defect. Please open and read the attachment to this post below. I don't expect that this will reach the level of a recall however we'll keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't. If you are affected by this situation, by all means go and have it look at during your next routine service at the dealership.
The Service Centers are now aware of the problem and if this happens to your vehicle the repair should be able to be done correctly the 1st time. Both Workhorse and International dealers should be able to apply the kit and from what I understand it's a Workhorse part.

Vesta Dave, Regrets my friend. The attachment already has 14 views and I did check and it does open. I am 100% certain that you already have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
Do you have a fast enough connection?
I can send it to you in eMail if you prefer.

DriVer: I reviewed the attachment from Workhorse and there is a big misunderstanding of my problem. Workhorse sent this kit to me once before saying this is a "known" issue and it was installed by Blust Motors. I stated this in past communications. The hose referenced in this attachment is a small, less than 6 inch hose. The hose I am having trouble with is much bigger and is seen in one of the pictures in the attachment.
I received a call yesterday afternoon from Workhorse but I was on the golf course and missed their call and I need to return their call on Monday, closed on the weekend.
I will take a picture of the problem hose on Monday and post it to this site.
Thanks for the help!

TheArnolds, When you speak with them on Monday make sure that they are clear as to what the problem is and what it isn't.

Jack....You are one patient man.
I'm watching this thread to see how the issue is resolved. If ever.
