It only happened going up hill when the pressure dropped down to about 40-45 lbs. Normally about 55-60 lbs. I'll have it checked out this springtime, but several have complained about all of the false alarms and lights.
Sorry, haven't looked into that one, nor have I heard of it.
I could speculate or guess but you don't want that. I would start with trying to see if it triped a fault code. Of course check the oil level. other than that, dealer.
Or you can search on line, Navistar may have something.

Good luck, let us know what you learn.

My Serrano Experience

I have a Serrano, which I purchased with a few thousand miles, and it now has in the mid 20's. I've been following the engine issues for some time. I had the same problem as everyone has- the tube into the turbo comes off. But, the fix is brain dead- you just tap holes through the bracket and put in a couple of screws to keep it connected. After reading about these engines for years, I think this accounts for 90 percent of the issues. I can't imagine why Thor didn't just do a recall.

The good news is that if you take care of this, the engine is trouble free. And, the upside is enormous. I get truly unbelievable fuel economy (11-12), and no need to add urea. One interesting thing I have noticed is that my fuel economy seems to be going up with time. At 25k the engine still may be breaking in.

My advice to you is stay away from the maxxforce engine. My Maxxforce 7 was a nightmare. There were a lot of issues with those engines . Google Maxxforce engines the reviews are bad . Go with a Cummins, I finally did.

2011 Breeze 28, MaxxForce7 with 38,000 miles, no problems. The problems you might read about were with the later years, 2013-2015, which was a different engine, designed to meet the 2010EPA requirements.

I have a 2011 H/R Trip with a MF7 engine and with 22,000 miles now and not one issue. I do not let it idle for more than 10-15 minutes. I drive at 60-64 mph, some times towing a jeep wrangler, and we get about 11.5 to 12.5 mpg average our trips. It will climb hills just fine, no overheating issues even in 105 deg. temps out here in the west. No parked re-gens. Totally happy with this engine, it runs great.

Glad to hear that you are having luck with yours. My MaxxForce had major issues. I traded mine in for a Newmar with the Cummins 360. Good luck.
