To my understanding it is proven under European standards which are not as high as US DEP standards. Navistar has implemented both technologies in that market and has bought SCR equipped engines for some Class 8 applications. According to independent press road tests A-EGR MaxxForce 13 engines pull the ProStar and LoneStar along quite nicely using A-EGR equipped engines. According to Randall & Reilly January 2009 Press;
"Navistar Inc. announced Monday, Jan. 21, that it has signed an agreement to acquire an interest in Danish technology company Amminex; terms were not made public. The Amminex technology is a metal ammine-based NOx reductant delivery system, and is a tool that Navistar engineers will use to explore exhaust gas NOx reduction for specific applications."

Anyone know of a good forum?? I do read all the trade magazines but they tend to be biased.[/QUOTE]I've been getting a lot of info from
eTrucker.com.
Later this year as you stated previously Navistar will release a ~"MaxxForce 15"~ based on the CAT C15 that will be a all EGR solution motor.
HERE .... Source
Truckinginfo.com This engine size according to press is creating a lot of angst for Cummins who is having challenges with that product going forward.
One thing that I have found; there are many trucking websites out there .... and not being in the business, it's difficult for me to gage bias.
