Posting this just in case anybody gets the same problem...
After a 5k mile trip with NO problems except the front AC compressor froze up I ended up with a Elect problem that took me a fw hours to fix.
I started the Motorhome the day after we got home from a trip and the darn dash lights along with alarm would stay on. I thought that a fuse had opend and checked every fuse in the Motorhome I could find and found no open fuses. I then Ohm out every breaker none were bad. The Motorhome ran fine and the only guage that did not work was the fuel Guage along with all the warning lights staying on. In desperation my final attempt for repair was to diaconnect Chassis battery for a few minuets and then reconnect. I went in and started the motorhome and everything worked perfect. I have checked every ground and power source to computer and found No problems and it has stayed fixed!.
I suspect that when I was checking my roof ac (and discovered frozen ncompressor) when I got home useing the generator for ac power and the wife had the key possibly on while getting stuff out after trip is when this problem happen. Just in case it happens to someone else...

Warren,

Nice to hear that your experience was "inexpensive". Just console yourself with the fact that it "forced" you to check out all of those pesky electrical connections.

Three years ago we were in our 2005 Diesel Bounder (Freightliner chassis)coming down from Dawson City, Yukon Territory, when it looked like a pinball game up front. Gages swinging wildly or going to zero, warning lights flashing or staying on, and no speedometer at all but the RV was running fine. We placed a call to Freightliner and found we probably had a loose connection in the MMDC computer wiring. I took it south all the way to Red Deer, Alberta, just south of Edmonton where a Freightliner truck dealer looked at it.

Two hours and they repaired two cannon plug pins in a rear compartment. Never had another issue.

If anyone is in that area and needs help, I can highly recommend them. A super clean shop, very busy, but highly knowledgeable and efficient.

John
