I had my coolant changed last year (8000 miles ago) on a 60k miles 2001 ISC. The receipt says 9 gal Es Compleat @ 10.97/gal. The extra gallon, pumped from a 55 gal drum, I purchased is blue liquid. Last week I drained some coolant from the radiator drain petcock to dip a test strip and the coolant was greenish.

Is Es compleat blue and does it turn greenish after 8k miles?

Thanks

Last time I looked, mine was still blue. It has been there for a couple of years.

I've always noticed that my ES Compleat does look a bit greenish in the sight bubble on the tank, and through the plastic on the overflow bottle. But I haven't drained a small amount so can't say what I would see there. I do know that when it was filled with normal green in 2005 after I requested ES Compleat in writing on a service ticket, it was pretty clear that they had put in the wrong stuff.
