I don't think there is anything wrong with your math.....just your expectations may be a bit over the top! Outside of your Foretravel I'm not aware of any other manufacturer(s) that equipped their Coaches with this kind of power/weight. Even at your minimum requirement of 75lb p/HP the Monaco (@46k) would need a 600hp ISX....even at 100lb p/HP you'd need a modified or brand new ISL! To my knowledge this kind of pow/weight just isn't possible in very many era2000 rigs.

We run a 350hp ISC in our rig, which tops-out (including toad) at 30,000lbs, and this is adequate power.....I don't think I'd be very happy pushing +45k with this engine....but what real choice does one have (outside of Foretravel) for this era of MH?

It is all crazy stuff of boys & toys indeed, heck my brother has a 51,000 coach with the ISX 650 and he will no longer travel with me, he just seems to get unhappyvwhen my lil ISM500 goes steaming by him in a proper fashion !
All my toys have a proper weight to hp ratio. Hemi Road Runner & a 340 Dart, yes am a Mopar type also.
Cheers
