2006 Cummins ISL 400

Engine had knocking sound. Stopped white smoke comming out of exshast. Check Engine light came on. oil pressure 60 Temp 200. Engine stopped running had it towed in. Any Ideas.

A batch of ISL's in that time frame had a wrist pin problem. It was the subject of a recall but the fix was not a fix, just an early warning devise of an impending problem. This is a known issue within a block of serial numbers and even though you are out of warranty they should step up.

The ISL wrist pin recall is CM850.
