2012 Cummins ISB 6.7 code clearing

Looking for any help clearing "stop engine" light on engine. Had a broken DEF line, fixed that, now looking for a way to clear engine trouble codes and stop engine light without having insite or laptop softwear. Thanks for reading, and helping, if you can, Vaughn

Hi Vaughn; Not sure what coach you have, but you can try turning the chassis 12V battery disconnect switch to the off position for about 5 minutes. If the engine ECM does not detect a problem, sometimes the codes will disappear and sometimes they will not. It is worth a try. Real easy. If the code does not go away you might need some other try. Also try calling Cumming's help or tech. line. It is toll free and I have gotten great help from their techs. I think it is open 24/7 but not sure. They saved me more the $500+ when I had a problem. No shop time for me. This is all a suggestion. Let us know if the disconnecting the chassis batteries clears the codes and have a great evening!

Depending on the code your more than likely SOL without some sort of insite like software. I am assuming the check engine light was on for some time before the stop engine light came on?

Tried your suggestion, unfortunately it was of no help, although I can see in some situations it could work. This is on a school bus, I have a guy coming with an "insite" program software to get me going again, Thanks for reading, and trying to help,
