Googled Cummins 6.7 and got a load of problems and complaints about the Dodge 6.7 engine's reliability/failure rates. Someone pls tell me that the RV 6.7 is a different animal than the truck version. Different blocks, internals????

You will get that with any engine/transmission/ chassis/whatever inquiry on the net. Some want attention, others use the anonymity to blow off steam. Somebody worked with somebody who heard of a guy that had trouble with his whatzit so all whatzits are junk.
In short, don't worry about it. Cummins has been building diesels for a long time and is very good at it. The 6.7 will be the same block and internals regardless of application, there will be differences in fuel delivery and cam profiles to modify the power and torque curves.

The 6.7L had its hiccups at introduction in January 2007 with the EGR and VGT programming in the ECU. You won't find much from the 2009 model year onwards - our 2011 has never been back to the shop for anything other than routine service (ordered 8/10, delivered 9/10).
