8.3 serpentine belt

I just bought a 1999 Fleetwood American Tradition. Spartan chassis with a Cummins 6C8.3. I want to replace the belts since I don't know any of the service history. I downloaded the cummins app, no help. I called cummings in Atlanta and he said the serpentine belt may or may not be a 3289012.

Any help getting the correct part numbers for both belts would be greatly appreciated.

My belt is a Goodyear 4080605.

There are not any numbers on the belt, It looks like it has been on there a while. One of the main reasons I want to change it. Piece of mind.

If that's the case I would pull the belt and head to Your Parts store to match it up to length and width.

Keep your picture so you know how it snakes back in place.

You can go to Cummins quickserve, and using your engine serial number get the correct Cummins part number which then can be crossed referenced....

The engine s/n is on a tag, passenger side of engine, or maybe in any documents you got with coach.

BTW, and just my opinion, but the tensioner looks orginal as well. Be good insurance to change it to.

You should be able to contact Spartan with your vin number and they might have all the items they installed with the belt sizes and numbers.

I believe your belt and mine should be the same. I have mine off currently and will be matching it up in the next few days to find a replacement. I will post a part number as soon as I find a match. I also believe the pictures RKins posted look like the correct part, but I can't be sure since they are a bit close.
