Counseling and Psychological Services fits, might be appropriate, but is probably not what you want. Can you put it in context?

This one says Bullets or Mushrooms:

HTH, now I can see what else comes in.

If I can remember correctly it is a separate (from engine driven) cooling system. ie; does not rely on power directly from belts driven by the engine. I think they came along when engines got smart and cleaner (ECM controlled) Sorry, I can't find anything to back it up. Now I'm wondering if I imagined it??? Could we have the acronym/short form wrong?

Fixer is close.

Centrifugal Aiming Pulse System.

A belt-less, gear- less cooling system used by Cummins for years. Powered by rare earth magnets attached to the water pump impeller which caused an induction pulse along the back side of the water pump volute.

Glad I have it in my CTA 8.3 as I like to know I have a built-in backup.

Beginning in 1998, Cummins introduced the ISC based off the earlier mechanical 8.3 C-series engine. The original ISC engine featured a Cummins Accumulator Pump System (CAPS).

This CAPS pump was a computer controlled injection pump, with individual fuel lines*to each injector.

In 2003 the HPCR system was introduced.

Cummins Accumulator Pump System (CAPS) fuel injection pump for Cummins 6 cylinder C series engines where used in heavy duty on-road, agricultural applications and many Motor-home applications.

Well who would have guessed that in the context of a 8.9 ISL 400 Cummings Diesel Engine with the Acronym CAPS in the Cummings Diesel Forum could have so many interesting meanings, Thanks everyone

Now IF you had asked the question WITH that info you wouldn't have gotten so many different responses

But when question is 'generic' then the WHOLE world is available for response

I suppose you could look at it that way but I was asking in a Cummings Engine Specific Forum in IRV2. Also in my AVATAR it shows a Travel Supreme and more specifically a 2004 DS03 which might have give a clue or two. So anyway all different ways of looking at things, and I always appreciate any help given when I ask a question. Thanks to all.....

Spelling Cummins incorrectly could lead to even more acronym revelations based on the rabbit trail direction
