Well...the experiment worked. I took the MH for a drive with very little idle time. The MIL light was lit. After about 25 miles, I pulled into a parking lot and turned off the engine. Let it remain 'off' for about 3 minutes and then restarted. The light did not come back on.

We then drove another 110 miles, turning off the engine 2 more times enroute. Took it back to storage and parked it with a minimum of idling. No more MIL light.

For whatever reason, this code is gone. Chicago, here we come...
