Cummins 236 filter water seperator

Anyone install one of these? I guess it would replace my Ricor S3201T primary.

Also. I changed my fuel filters today for the first time. Big key is to drain them a bit to avoid spillage. My manual says to put on the secondary dry. I filled it because I was afraid not to. I cycled my lift pump three times and it started right up. Why do they want it on dry? To protect it from contaminants? Maybe if the lift pump was dry it's easier to pull air than fluid?Click image for larger version

I'm also looking at replacing my fuel filters. There are a number of threads on this. I have a caps pump ISC 330 and have had to replace the lift pump and the caps pump in the last year. On my engine both the filters are solid metal so you can't see whats going on in the fuel system. The filter system I'm looking at is the Davco 382 fuel processor. I think the one you are looking at is a re branded Davco. You can pick them up at around $100 bucks. I think that when I make the change I'm only going to use one filter to lessen the load on the caps pump.
