If you are parking the coach and only going to use it at times if its cold the day before use just plug in night before to warm up oil and she should start right up. Now if you were in Alaska you need all the time but Tenn. should be ok as suggested.
Congrats on your Newmar and welcome to the forum.

Well I don't live in Alaska but I do live close to Thompson Manitoba and it gets to -40 Celsius/Fahrenheit without wind chill in the winter.

There is no operational problem resulting from leaving it on constantly other than I suppose possible early demise although I've never talked to anyone who has had this problem. So, it comes down to personal choice. I have at times decided to leave it on in very cold weather just to keep the components somewhat less stressed.

If your going to use the coach on a regular basis when its -40 then keep it plugged in all the time.

For my coach and my PSD I put the heater on a timer to come on about 2 hrs before I need to start up the engine. This has always worked for me, and your not upping your power bill. The heater will increase your power bill.

No I will not be using the coach when it is -40 it will be stored, hopefully inside during the winters here in Northern Manitoba Canada. Unfortunately the coach and I will be parted by about 150km's of dirt/mud road which will never see the underside of my coach. I am in the process of securing indoor storage and have a number of concerns about storing it. Should I remove the batteries and keep them indoors/warm stored? Should I jack the RV up and put it up on jack stands to keep the RV tires off the ground? Should I keep the block plugged in or just make sure that its coolant is good too -50 Celsius?

Yes to removing and storing batteries indoors if not able to keep charged. They will be destroyed by cold when discharged i.e. they will freeze and expand/break and when thawing out a huge mess.

On tires, inflate to maximum shown on sidewalls and keep off of earth.

No need to run block heater if coolant is at sufficient level to cover expected temperature. A block heater is usually 1000 watts or so and it will have minimal impact in extreme cold.
