I have just recently bought a 2008 Trop-I-Cal with a 340 ISB Cummins, I have recently heard Cummins had put out a notice to recalibrate the engine, I dont know anymore than that. Can anyone advise me if this is true and if so what it is all about and what should I do?

Call 888-769-3778 or 800-343-7357 with your engine S/N and ask them.
Then you should follow their advise.

Here's a link to steps to find your serial number.

https://store.cummins.com/info/qsol/..._esn_tip.print

Also, since your engine is under warranty, the next time you get it serviced use a Cummins place or someone that works on Cummins and they can pull the serial number electronically from the ECM.
