Cummins 340 ISB Fault Code 3362 F31

2015 Cummins is showing fault code 3362 F31. From the forum I see that it is related to DEF. We are currently in Newfoundland and I am wondering if this will develop into a major problem or if it can wait until we get back to Illinois on Aug 5th.

Call the Freightliner help line 800-385-4357 or the nearest Cummins service center.

Called freightliner and they said it was a problem with the input line to the dosing unit. Could be crystallized def or sediment from the tank. I plan to keep the def tank as full as I can as often as I can and hope to get back to Illinois without a breakdown.

I just had a problem with a nox sensor related to the DEF system. In speaking with the service folks where I had it fixed leads me to believe that DEF is a problem for many including OTR drivers.

Quick update. Warning light went away after I continued to keep the DEF tank filled with fresh DEF. Whew!!!!!.... Thanks for the feedback.
