Cummins 6.7 ISB

I am wondering if this has been a good engine? We had the 5.9 in a Boounder and it always performed well. Looking at an 08 Fleetwood product with the 6.7,325 HP, and really have never seen any negative posts on this powerplant.

Excellent engine. Well liked and considered to be reliable.

Mighty fine engine. Only complaints I've heard is that some are in coaches too big for it's size.

What GVW would you say is excessive for its capabilities? TIA

The 6.7 also comes in a range of H. P. and torque ratings. My 360 H. P. & 800 lbs works fine for a 35 ft. Ventana.

Sorry, never owned one and can't help. Had friends that had one in one of the HR models that have been discontinued, way under powered they said and traded for a big tag axle rig.

I have the 300hp in a 40 foot Sportscoach, weighing in at right around 23,000 pounds. I haven't been disappointed, but I've never driven a 450hp either. Run what you brung.

We have enough power for our 38 footer. It is listed at 27,000 GVW with 32,000 max including trailer. Gets great fuel mileage, usually around 9.5 or 9.6 at 70 mph.
