Cummins fault code

Just started the engine and engine fault SPN 411 and PID 411 appeared, anyone know what it means? 2006 Essex

Make sure you know if your reading SPN/FMI codes(J1939) or Cummins Fault codes.

Cummins Quickserve offer a converter between the two types of Codes for your engine number if you subscribe to it. It then provides links on quickserve to troubleshooting the code and links for repairing the problem.

SPN refers to a problem area while the FMI is specific to that problem area. The J1939 coding can then be coverted to an exact cummins code.

Really confused me when I started learning about it.
