Cummins HP flash upgrade ?

Does anyone know where in the LA / Ventura CA. area that will do the flash upgrade to the IBS 300 Cummins?
Would like to go from current 300hp to 340hp.

2013 Excusion ISB 6.7 300hp with allison 2100.

If you have the MH2100 Allison, its not rated for that much increase. If you end up doing it anyway, please post the results. I suspect that tranny is tougher than Allison leads us to believe.

Allison brochure , for the 2100 series says torque limiting required if running the 340 HP.
Use caution when up grading the engine, could end up costing $$$$ if trans doesn't hold up.
Coach manufactures order chassis with the smaller trans to save a few bucks and it ends up costing the purchaser more, in the long run.

Just attended a Cummins Power Club rally in Columbus Ind. Asked and got a price to update to 340 hp. Was told since my coach was under warranty it would cost $1300.00. $1000.00 was for the warranty change and $300 for upgrade. If coach was out of 5yr 100,000.0 mile warranty it would be only $300. But I was advised by Cummins, that it would not be worth it as the hp and torque gain was not that much to notice any difference in performance. So I decided against it!
The few times going up a steep grade for me are few and manage with the lower gear setting going up towing my jeep. The remainder of the time I have no problems and appreciate the mpg's of this unit.

FYI: Per Cummins and the Allison specs the 2100 series can handle up to the 340hp and the 2500 series can go to 360hp.

It's all a matter of personal choice.

Good Luck!
Don

Thanks Don,
Great info.
I was told the same about the 2100 from Allison regarding the specs.
Just need to find someone to do the new flash here in southern CA.
