Attached is the report, can you tell?
The 800 ppm Nitrite is your SCA so you need the Fleetguard Test strips which test for Nitrite, Molybdate and Glycol

Every year you should test and add per the recommended level

I may have a duplicate due to the original not showing up

The 800 ppm Nitrite is your SCA and what the Fleet Guard test strips are for as well as Molybdate and Glycol

Of course that is the extender

So with the info so far can you tell what kind of coolant I have:
  • AntiFreeze 50/50 FEXT LIFE DEISEL - 8 GALLONS.
and
  • CC2825 Coolant ES Complete Fleetguard - 1 gallon.

  • 800 ppm Nitrite

As you can tell I'm not familiar with the types of coolants and extenders.

Nothing wrong with your coolant, it just don't have life span the OAT does. Folks change it out around three years instead of five or more.

OK, so I should change the coolant, it's been 3 years. Can you tell what kind of coolant I have? 50/50 FEXT LIFE DEISEL, is that just regular coolant. I'm guessing I would NOT add coolant extender to this coolant, correct?

From the information you posted you have regular coolant with SCA's. If you are going to change it you could go back the same or go with OAT

Either way is fine and the three year recommended interval is one probably 1/2 the folks follow and the other half go further while checking the SCA's and glycol. Personally I like the OAT as is has less TDS (total dissolved solids) and than means less wear and tear on the moving parts especially in the coolant system. You should see longer water pump and seal life and improved corrosion protection albeit at a bit higher price point although there are some good deals on the OAT. (organic acid technology)
