It is simple conclusion, "adding Diesel Kleen will help" so I am adding!

How about backing that info up with a phone# and contact name! No engine manufacture is going to suggest their engine needs an additive for better operation, regardless of what fuel additive suppliers say. In fact doing so may void your engine warranty. Check your owners manual.

Your links come from a 3rd party, not Cummings. I would want to see a official Cummings Bulletin!

Cummins now suggests using power service products... search cummins.com for press release.

Cheers

Cummins Filtration offers an array of fuel additive products to enhance the fuel system performance and support new emission standards. Changing regulations that have lead to the use of biodiesel blends and ULSD fuels have created unique maintenance needs across the globe. The addition of high quality fuel additives is now an important element in every good diesel engine maintenance program.

The above quote is off the Cummins Filtration Web site. It is however polar opposite of what the documentation says that came with my Chassis. The documentation as printed for the 2016 ISL9 says no additives. So I guess if you feel better add them and if not don't. I did use Ford PM22 in my 6.7 for over 100K due to some of the fuel system failures that were reported. After the smoke cleared many of the fuel system failures were due to people inserting the DEF nozzle into the fuel inlet. Most additives aren't going to hurt however the benefits may be hard to measure other can cold weather products.

When the temp is below 30 for a period of time I use both Kleen and the Fuel supplement at the same time. 8 ounces of each for the 31 gallon tank. I can tell the difference in the way it runs.
