Would it be a valve seat or injector leaking at iddle?
That could be an injector dribbling or even a rail pressure control not holding pressure at an idle. Once the pump rpm comes up it can pump more.

If there is excessive pressure, back to the Head Gasket or Cracked Liner...

Yes, I got this part. But how would you get bubble if you use the overflow tube in a glass of water, the cap is preventing the pressure / air to go out isn'it?

I seen a video in you tube showing the bubble but using a rubber cap and a tube from the tank filling hole.

Ok, I did a bubble test. First, with the reservoir cap installed, engine was warm but not at top operation temp, did not see any bubble from the overflow tube. I will recheck when the engine is up to operating temp.

Then I did the test with reservoir cap removed but just blocking the opening with a rubber car and overflow tube in a glass of water, then I see bubble. I think there should be bubbles as the coolant temperature rises and pressure is building up, that pressure got to go somwhere so it goes through the tube, in the water.

I tried it on my truck, Ford diesel, and same happened, bubble with cap off.

To mention, I flushed my antifreeze and there was not a trace of oil in it.

Suppose it could also be a turbo seal going out. Looking at smoke color can be confusing, based upon lots of factors...

I get a puff of smoke after idle, mine 'appears' to be dark/black, which too me makes me think it's excess fuel...

Good luck!!! And let us know what you find out!

I will sure follow. I checked the engine oil cap, no sign of milky stuff at all. The oil on the dip stick is oil only and it did not go down on the last 1000 miles so far.

I did not check the turbo yet.

You get the bubbles from the pressure created by compression working its way into the head gasket, white exhaust is caused from the coolant that worked its way into the cylinders while sitting, the milk shake you see on the oil filler cap is not good (water & oil) could be a liner seal also causing the white (ish) exhaust.

I added a double dose of Diesel Kleen and went for a 50 miles trip, stopping 2 days overnight. I now do not see much fumes at the exhaust, on start up or after warm up.

I am going on a 600 miles trip in two weeks, I will report on the result.
