I have a 2000 monaco diplomat with a 315 hp cummins engine. When I reach about 55 mph or go up an incline, the stop engine warning light comes on and the motor shutters. Any suggestions?

Check your fuel filters. Mine did the same thing and found the filters were blocked. Bad fuel was the reason.

Check your coolant level. Also when was the last time you changed the fuel filters?

Go to a Cummins shop, have them hook the computer up to your info output and they can read the fault codes and tell you what is wrong. That is the easiest way rather than second guess the problem while spending money on things you may not need. DACOTAH
