JDT, Sixpack98 and anyone else interested.
Some of you may have thought of this but if you have already done or are going to changeover to the final charge OAT coolant then you might want to call Old World Industries and have them send you some stickers.
I just received mine and placed one by the coolant tank. I also just switched the coolant over in the generator so I placed a sticker on it that you can't miss when you open the access door. The stickers are red and plainly state that the coolant system has final charge in it and nothing but final charge coolant or final charge 50/50 premix should be added. There is a contact number also in case anyone servicing your system has questions.
I sure would hate for someone to come along and pour in some of the standard coolants and undo all of my hard work.

Thanks Letsgoagain. Always good to have a reminder what was installed. I'll give them a call.

Thanks for the input. I am about to change my coolant over to final charge and with all that you have to do for the switchout, I, like you sure do not want anyone to put something in there that doesn't belong.

As an update to my post of yesterday -- today I flushed the system (4 times over) and installed the Final Charge. While looking at the empty gallon containers that the Final Charge came in, an idea hit me (I still do have them every now and then). I took a box cutter and cut out the part of the container that said Final Charge -- Extended Life Coolant --- punched a hold in one corner of the cut out and then ran a copper wire through the hole and attached the label to the fill neck of the overflow tank -- cut the smaller label off of the back of the container and attached it to the surge tank using a small tie wrap. Ended up as a pretty nice way to tell everyone what is in the system and had all of the materials on hand.

Thanks, two good ideas here. I did write in permanent marker on my tank to use only red coolant but I like the idea of a sticker or tag much better. Jim

David K,
Now thats a pretty neat idea. The plastic will probably outlast your motorhome.
