Getting ready to hit the road and have engine warning light and code

Hi folks, need some help in a hurry. Leaving in the morning for a quick trip and have been getting coach ready for the last few days. All of a sudden this morning I have an engine warning light on after starting. I'm getting a code on the Silverleaf:

ID FMI N Description
70 3 1 INLET HEATER 1/HIVOLT

I drove the coach from storage about 5 miles to the house and the engine warning light would go out for a minute or so and then back on with the Silverleaf showing one line of the above code and another line below it would come on when the engine warning light would come on showing
INLET HEATER INACTIVE.

The temp here this morning was 46 and I assume this is a temp driven heater. Can anyone give me some advise on what it's doing and is it OK to drive with this warning?

Is this on a Cummins ISL?

Sorry, yes 2005 400 ISL. I'm believing that it's fine to drive, it's an amber warning light, not red. Just wanted to make sure.

I'm guessing you're ok to drive. The intake grid heater is only on for a short time at startup.

Just a suggestion to try:

When you turn on the ignition switch to start, I assume you have a WAIT light that comes on indicating the Intake Heater is active.
In some cases, if you do not fully allow the Wait Light to time out, it will cause the ECU to throw up a CEL.
It took me a while to figure this out on my rig. Still, once in a while, I will get in a hurry and start the engine without letting the light time out and will get a CEL at some point down the road.
