hard to start 300hp cummins

has anybody dealt this problem i have a 300 cummings engine that is hard to start cold or hot

it would fire but would not run but a few seconds after finally cranking

How old is the coach? Cat 320's got the easy cure, but the fuel pump could be about to fail.

they have just been changed out think i found problem with bad connection at fuel pump thanks for committs
