How to properly read a fault code? (ISC)

So my wife and I just purchased our first DP (used, so sadly limited manuals) with an ISC (appears to be a 300hp / 950lb/ft model). So here's my first newbie question:

When I first turn the key to "on" (but don't let hit the starter) I see the "service engine" light flash in what I could have sworn was a 3-3-3-3-3 pattern. Of course, that doesn't appear to be a real fault code, so I am guessing I am doing it wrong

Everything seems to then start and run smoothly; no issues, and the coach has a digital readout from Silver Leaf, so temps/pressures, etc all seemed good. It also occured to me that this would just be the "wait to start" signal and that thinking it was a fault was silly?

Thanks!

Steve

Hi SteveLevin,
For me, if the engine is running without any problems, I'm good to go. I never look at the dash when waiting for the Cummins to get ready to start. This may have eliminated quite a bit of drama in my life.
