On eBay there are several listings for INSIGHT Software. From a few bucks to over $1000.00. what do you want from the software. Appears most of insight stuff is to do with digital management. good hunting ed

Insite software is a free download on Cummins site. I believe you can use it in basic without a license. The new 7.5 has a separate fault reader. Works great. The only problem is you need a Inline adapter to go along with it and it runs$500-$750.

(it works great with pro plus license)

You can at least get all the alarm codes for every engine they ever made. I think also get the PDF files for trouble shooting. Just can't adjust or read ECM without license and adapter.

Don't download from the site from the first post. You notice it isn't even spelled right.Don't know what you will be getting.

There are only a few adpters that will work. I have the Inline5.It also works for the Allison and the ABS system. The old 3 and 2's won't get it.

I use an adapter from B&B Electronics, link here http://www.bb-elec.com/bb-elec/liter...0A3-4407ds.pdf

Think the cost was $200 a few years ago. Wish it worked with my Silverleaf setup.

What software do you use for Allison?

Won't work. Has to be RP1210A compliant and support J1939/can which is what Cummins use.

I use Allison DOC's for PC

Appreciate the reply. Looked at the Allison site and it "looks like" a few translator devices will work - Allison Transmission . Is the software a one time purchase or does it require an annual license renewal. Do you find you use the Allison tool frequently?

Nah, just use it for my own rig or if someone I meet or know wants to use it. Got tired of ISM and EGR issues. Finally straightened it out myself. Good for ABS issues also. No more guessing.
