I have seen fan clutchs on the Cummins ISB. Are they available for the earlyer versions. From the looks of the fan mounted my 2004 pusher it's got to use at least 25HP to turn at highway speed. Even with the radiator in the back with forward spped and the negative pressure behind the motorhome it seems it would cool fine.

Horton supplies variable fans that are controlled by the ECU, Fans and Fan Drives | Horton. It is not an easy installation on rear radiator MHs and you need to find the right way to connect to the ECU. I looked at them and opted not to spend the money. They could fail and they cost nearly $1000.

Thanks for the info. Just trying to gain every mpg and hp I can get out of this little ISB with out compromising the durability of the engine. No warrenty issues as it is a 2004 so I'm the only warrenty it has.
Thanks agian.
