Hello all:
I just recently purchase a 2002 HR Ambassador with a ISB 300 Cummings. Question, where can I find the model number of the engine to find the type of fuel/oil/air filters? I did manage to crawl under the coach and get numbers off the fuel filters # 533242 and 33402. I believe the cross reference are WIX brands. Any suggestions?

Cummins has a help line, very good helpfull techs. Have the vin # when you call! If it is a freightliner chassis they also have a tech number. Same info needed.

On my ISB 300, the owners manual that came with it says the #'s are stamped on the front of the valve cover on the top of the engine. Best to check the owners manual.

The plate is located on the left front of the engine block just above the oil pan. Keep in mind if it is a diesel pusher, the engine is mounted reversed, so it will be found on the passenger side just above the oil pan, toward the rear side of the RV. It may require a light and mirror to obtain the proper information.

The Cummins site tells how to find the Engine Serial Number (ESN) on each engine. That will in turn identify the engine specifics

https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/..._esn_tip.print

However, most filters are in systems installed by the chassis builder, not Cummins. Fuel delivery, cooling, hydraulics, air cleaner, etc. are chassis systems and not part of the engine. Have your VIN handy and call the chassis manufacturer for correct filter information.
