We ordered (& rec'd) fuel filters per the numbers in the Monaco Beaver owners manual. The primary filter calls for an FS1242. The installed filter is an FS19738 which is 3-4 inches longer than the FS1242. Looks the same otherwise. Is the 19738 a heavyduty 1242? I can find no cross reference so wondering if anyone would know. Can call H&S monday but wanted to complete the oil/fuel filter change this weekend........
PS - Haven't a clue why there is a 19738 presently installed (that's a Camping World question!)

I'd call Cummins with the engine serial number...they can tell you ANYTHING you want to know.

Cummins will not be open until tomorrow. As you must have missed, we're trying to finish this weekend...
Interestingly enough, we rec'd an email from H&S (where the new filters were purchased) TODAY! (sunday). They advise there is no crossover between the two.
Great service from H&S!!

Watch your local NAPA dealer. They often have the 1/2 off filter sale several times a year. Especially if your in an agricultural area.
