1. What is the best fuel filter and what is the micron rating?

2. how in the hell do you get the thing out of there?

its right above the starter and close to the frame. i'm not a big guy but is can't

Your engine came from Cummins with Fleetguard filter products. The Fuel Water separator is FS1065, the fuel filter is either FF5636 or FF5488.
FS1065 fuel is 10 micron at 98.7%, 5 micron at 83%, 95% water removal efficiency.
FF5636, 5 micron @ 98.7%, 2 micron @ 88%
FF5488, 5 micron @ 98.7%, 2 micron @ 92%

Not being an owner of such vehicles as a MH, I would guess that you are going to get under it in some manner. Or, take it to Speedco for your filter service.

This is what my ISC 350 has. Might want to post a thread in the owners forum! I only have 1 filter, you may have more. I run all Fleetguard products. Based on info from a filter rep, Cummins manufacters all can filters for RV use.

Good Luck
