ISC AC Idler pulley
I have a 2000 American Eagle with a Cummins ISC 350
This engine has the AC on top of the engine at the rear.
The AC is powered by a V belt.
This V belt goes over a simple IDLER pulley
Does anyone have a part number for this?
Even perhaps an alternate common part for the Cummins part?
thx Dale

I don't believe the idler is a Cummins part.
Another member with a similar set up had called Cummins , about removing his belt, and they told him his A/C had to be driven by the serpentine belt.
Have you had the idler off the engine ?
There may be part numbers on the back side , or the bearing may be replaceable, by removing a snap ring on the back side.
Does your set up look like this?

I went by the local cummins service place here and they took one look at the pulley and said "not a Cummins part"
My guess it must have been installed by Spartan.
I then went to a local parts store who combed their shelves and came up with something very close. I plan to look at it closely tomorrow and see if it is usable.
My system is similar to the one shown in the picture on the other post -- but not exactly the same.
If this works I will take a pix -- and post the part number of the one I got from the auto parts store ---
let you know --- thx Dale

Hey, Dale, it isn't quite the same, but the picture sure looks like what is on my ISB. When I bought my coach, the dash air didn't work, so began investigating, and found the idler was completely gone! After looking it over closely, I found the old idler laying on the frame, I took it to my local AGCO dealer, and it was the same one used on a 6175 White tractor! Amazing sometimes how things work out.

I installed the new pulley today
first here is what the final install looked like
next here is the old pulley --front had the only numbers
I used a small plastic caliper to add one common flat washer behind the new pulley to have it line up correctly.
finally -- this is the box with the number of the pulley I purchased and installed
maybe someone will find this useful in the future through a site search
thx Dale

Dale only one comment , it would appear that the belt is too long, judging by the visible slot in the slide mount.
I know , I'm just picky. Glad you're fixed up and mobile.
