Going to do my own oil change this time. Ordered a Fumoto valve and new filter already. So I look in the Cummins manual for the ISC in our '04 Winnebago Vectra and it says 21 qts 22 total. Look online here RV Cummins Engines & Caterpillar Diesel Engines | RV Engine Maintenance Schedule and it says '03 and up 25qts. I'll get enough to do 25 but it would be nice to know how much ahead of time.

It will vary with where the oil cooler is and how it's set up. I just put in 5 gallons and check the dipstick after it's run a short while to get the oil filter filled and add what is needed. It's not super critical. On mine, if I fill it to the full mark it kicks oil out on the toad till it gets to midway between the add and full marks. So now I just set it there and check it daily when we travel.

My ISC 350 takes 21 qts. If you add to much oil, it will come back out the blow by tube!

Good Luck!

Just put in as much as you take out...that way you won't over fill it.

Ditto on the 21qts/22qts....but I like the idea of putting in 5 gallons, running it and then topping off.

There is way too much disparity with the dipstick calibrations.
