ISL 400 Slobber Tube?

After reading several threads about the dreaded slobber tube allowing oil to clog rear radiators, I decided to extend mine on my 2009 ISl 400. I Expected to find it on the curb side of the engine like it was on my 2006 ISB but there wasn't one. Checked both sides of the engine, front to rear and couldn't find it or any evidence of oil on the engine. Is there one and if so where is it? Thanks in advance.

I don't believe the ISL has one. Mine didn't.

I bo not believe any of the engines after 2007 with new emissions have them. They are a sealed system but they may have a filter you have to change occasionally.

Beginning 2007, ISL / ISC went to a closed crankcase ventilation system that uses a Fleetguard filter. There is a trick to installing the filter so that it does not cause a messy oil leak. If any on this forum have had the replacement filter leak, call Cummins Filtration Service Engineering at 800-223-4583. Follow the menus to 'Service Engineering'. Either Jim or Harold will be able to supply a little picture set or diagram on how to hold the filter properly in place so that it cannot slip and create a gap when the cover bolts are tightened. The part is being redesigned to prevent this but there will be old stock of that first design at dealers and Cummins distributors.

All above comments are correct. Engines which met the EPA 07 emission requirements and beyond di not have the slobber tube. All have a closed system.
