ISM production moved to Mexico?

I have a friend that's worked at the Cummins Lakewood NY plant for 10+ years and he was telling me that it looks like the production of the ISM engine might move to Mexico because they only make about 10 of these engines a day at the plant, and it's not cost effective to keep production going at that low a level. He said that it also looks like there's a possibility they might move the production of the ISG motor from Germany to the Lakewood plant. He said though that overall production is going to be way down plant wide after the first of the year and anticipated to remain low thru 2017.

No longer offered in the US. Maybe for sales elsewhere?

The ISM is not configured for OTR in the US. It's still used in construction equipment and industrial applications. I'm sure it's used OTR in some areas of the world.
