What is the cost difference between an ISX 12 and X15 engine. For example the ISX 12 in the Newmar MA and the X 15 in the Newmar LA?

Completely different architecture on each engine. The only real commonality is the red paint.

$26,492 additional. But only if you purchase in quantities.
Within the vehicle there are also increased costs for the larger radiator, hydraulic system, differential, as well as other support systems.

The ISX is no longer being built by Cummins. The new replacement engine is the X15. There are numerous changes to the X15 like a SOHC vs ISX DOHC. Much more similar then different the two engines.
X12 is also very different then either the ISX or new X.
We have the newer X15 in a Newmar London Aire and are very pleased with both the power and fuel economy.
